This extension for Maya provides you with new tools and workflow enhancements, helping you get more done in less time. Some of the features you should be excited about include: an all-new Color Management system, new performance profiler tool, and a series of modeling and workflow productivity enhancements.

New features:

Color Management

A completely new color management system that helps you preserve your creative intent throughout lighting and rendering workflows with more accurate color reproduction within Maya windows and editors, as well as frames rendered through the NVIDIA® mental ray® renderer.

A simple linear workflow is available out of the box, and you can customize it to match your color pipeline

Includes support for EXR floating-point data and for the Autodesk® Color Management component (SynColor), the OpenColorIO open source project, and the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES), which enables consistent color-safe handling of imagery across The Foundry's NUKE® software, Adobe® Photoshop® software, Autodesk® Flame® family of products, and other applications to help ensure color compatibility throughout the studio pipeline.

Third parties can take advantage of the SDK to implement support for the Maya Color Management system in other renderers and applications that work with Maya.

Performance Profiler

The new Performance Profiler helps technical directors gauge, measure, and debug the performance of individual nodes, character rigs, and Maya scenes.

Take advantage of a graphical interface that enables performance measurement and graphing for dirty propagation, evaluation, deformations, rendering, Qt events, XGen instancing, and Bifrost simulations.

A robust API gives you the option to extend the Performance Profiler for use with custom tools and plug-ins.

Productivity Enhacements

We made a number of general workflow enhancements that you identified as high priority, in an effort to make your everyday tasks more efficient and save you time.

Performance and stability
The following areas feature performance and stability improvements (formerly released in service packs).

Document
- Changing the drawing scale in a custom box added to the user interface (UI) no longer causes instability in CorelDRAW.
- Grid values set in millimeters are preserved.
Filters
- Text in SVG files that originated from CGM files is now displayed accurately in Google Chrome.
You can convert DWG files to CDR files.
- PDF files that contain CCITT fax compression on images within PDF can now be opened.
Objects
- PowerClip content is no longer centered when objects are overlapping.
Object linking and embedding (OLE)
- The appearance of linked objects is maintained in files exported with CorelDRAW.
Printing
- When working with the Imposition Layout tool in Print Preview, you can now use the Edit Margins option.
- You can use the Scale Factor and Lock controls in Print Preview.
Text
- You can add text to tables that have 0-value margins.
- In French text, extra space is no longer added after an apostrophe.
- When you convert to curves text that has different fill colors, all colors are preserved.
- CorelDRAW no longer generates a font substitution message for fonts that are installed on your computer.
Tools
- You can use modifier keys with the Bézier tool and the Pen tool to create straight line segments.
- When using the B-Spline tool, you can now press Esc to cancel the curve, and Enter to end the curve.
- The Crop tool now works as expected on bitmaps.
VBA
- Accessing the Palette property of the Document class no longer produces an error.
- Saving projects to earlier versions of CorelDRAW no longer converts the text to curves.
Workspaces and customization

- You can now drag and drop CDR, CPT, and JPEG files in the application window even after changing the On startup option (Tools > Options) from Welcome Screen to Nothing.

Autodesk Inc., a world leader in 3D design software for entertainment, natural resources, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and civil infrastructure, announced the release of AutoCAD 2015, is the light CAD design software in the AutoCAD family and offers robust computer 2D drafting and detailing. AutoCAD provides all the features we were seeking, all of which help improve the overall usability of the CAD design software. You can create custom tool palettes that display only the tools you need for your current project. This allows you to organize the interface in the most efficient and useful way for that particular project. There's also convenient drag-and-drop functionality of design objects and a command history that lets you track changes. The latter is especially important if the project is a collaboration between multiple users so you can see the specific changes made by each user.

The application also has a handy command entry feature that helps you quickly find a specific command by name. If you don't know the full name, you can enter what it starts with and the software will populate a list of features that begin with what you entered. You can even use wildcard characters in your search. If you know the feature has four letters and ends with R, you can input "???R" and the software will list all the features that match your search query.

AutoCAD also includes features that help condense many of the redundancies often associated with computer design. For instance, it allows you to create macros. A macro is a consecutive set of commands that are saved and later executed as a single command. Macros make redundant processes, like adding windows to floor plans, less tedious and time-consuming and can help streamline your overall design process.

The CAD design software also has a convenient point-marker tool that automatically numbers identical objects (e.g., doors, walls, etc.) and a measure command. With a measure command, the software automatically calculates the distance between two selected endpoints.
